Groot is a delightful 45-pound bundle of energy and personality, who has appointed himself Head of the Welcome Committee and Assistant Manager of your household. He’s a backyard explorer, a quality control specialist, and a first-class morale officer, all rolled into one. His enormous ears are always at attention, ready to alert you to anything from distant treat bag rustling to neighborhood squirrel business. Groot approaches life with a joyful enthusiasm, a unique blend of investigative focus and spontaneous zoomies.

Ideal Home

Groot absolutely thrives with canine companionship and would love to live with another playful dog. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.

Groot is a healthy and happy pup.

Training & Support

Groot is a smart and eager-to-please dog who is already fully house trained and crate trained. He knows several commands, including sit, lay down, give paw, "go eat," "go outside," and "go for a walk." He responds well to praise and is eager to make his people proud.

Groot is currently being fostered in MA and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. Transports depart weekly.
