Hi, hi, oh hi! My name is Bella, and I am a six-year-old, eighty-plus-pound girl who is likely a German Shepherd mix. I'm so happy to meet you! I came to the rescue after my previous family moved and left me at a city shelter. Thankfully, the rescue team saved me, and now I'm looking for a safe, loving new home.

I'm a fun-loving girl who enjoys cuddles, car rides, and especially playing in the water! I've been around cats and can get along with other dogs, but I'd do best as the only dog in the home or with a calm male canine companion. I am house-trained, know basic manners, and use a doggie door. I love to stay close to my people.

Ideal Home

I need a home that understands and can help me manage my high-value resource guarding, particularly with things like tissues and treats. For this reason, I am not a good match for homes with small children. I enjoy activities like walks and playing ball, but my endurance is low due to my size. I can also get distracted when exploring new things, so a patient owner is a must.

Ongoing Health

I have been spayed, microchipped, and am up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm/flea & tick preventatives.

Training & Support

I am working with a trainer on my resource guarding, and they can offer continued support to help you and me succeed.
