Kermit is a sweet, curious, and happy little guy who's estimated to be around 4 months old and weighs between 9 and 13 pounds. He's part of a litter of four, with two brothers (Kirby) and two sisters (Kiwi and Kimchi). We think Kermit might have some Chihuahua, terrier, Pomeranian, or Pekingese in his family tree, which likely means he'll be clever, feisty, enthusiastic, and energetic when he grows up. We anticipate he'll be a smaller dog, around 20-30 pounds when fully grown. Kermit and his siblings were rescued from a shelter in Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago, eagerly awaiting their forever families.
Ideal Home
Kermit would thrive with an active and engaging family who has a solid sense of humor. Puppies require a lot of time and attention, including frequent potty breaks (every 3-4 hours) and plenty of playtime, engagement, and mental stimulation throughout the day. Please be sure you have the time for a puppy before applying.
Ongoing Health
Kermit has been neutered, is up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped, and has started on flea and heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
As a puppy, Kermit will need ongoing training and socialization to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.
