Honey Comb

Honey Comb is a wonderfully sweet, affectionate, and smart 5-6 year old mixed breed dog who weighs 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, making her an ideal cuddle bug and a fantastic work-from-home companion. Honey Comb loves to be close to her humans, whether she's resting her head on your lap or nuzzling into your neck. She's also independent enough to entertain herself with toys or a chew bone while you're busy. When it's time for fun, she's always ready for zoomies, neighborhood walks, car rides, or puzzle toys. Honey Comb has a big smile, a wagging tail, and a signature "stop, drop, and roll" move that lets everyone know she's ready for belly rubs. She's incredibly smart, learns routines quickly, and is respectful around food. Honey Comb is ready to fill your days with cuddles, smiles, and unconditional love. She starts her day with a wiggle and a smile, enjoys tug-of-war and puzzle games, and loves leisurely walks on nature trails. She also enjoys soaking up the sun and keeping an eye out for squirrels.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. A fenced-in backyard is a must for her to play fetch and sunbathe. She would prefer a quieter suburban or rural area over a busy city, as she loves nature trails and hikes. She is happiest as the only pet, where she can receive all the love and attention. A feline-free home is recommended as she has not been tested with cats. She would love to have human siblings, and children aged 4 and up are recommended to avoid accidental bumps from her happy tail.

Ongoing Health

Honey Comb is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary veterinary care while in our care.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She communicates when she needs to potty by tap dancing by the door. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel or a dog bed next to your bed, but would love to sleep with her forever family.

• The adoption fee is $350, which includes a $100 adoption fee and a $250 transport fee.

Transporation

Honey Comb is in a foster home in Austin, TX. We have monthly transports, and adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to transport; we cannot bring dogs for meet and greets due to transport distance.
