Meet Joanie, a sweet and soulful 1-1/2-year-old shepherd/hound mix who weighs about 52 pounds. Joanie has a heart full of love and so much potential! She can be a little shy when she first meets new people and dogs, but once she warms up, which doesn't take long, she is incredibly affectionate and loyal. Joanie is currently living in a foster home with four other dogs and loves to play with them.

Joanie is moderately active and would do well with a patient, experienced owner who can help her continue to build confidence through positive training and consistent structure.

Ongoing Health

Joanie is fully vaccinated and spayed. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment.

Joanie is located in Houston, TX. She is available for local adoption. Once her heartworm treatment is complete, she will be available for out-of-state adoption. Transport can be arranged to approved adopters through our rescue network.
