Chance

Meet Chance! This sweet 6-8 month old Lab mix has overcome so much and is ready to find his forever family. He was found abandoned in a crate by the side of the road, having suffered a broken leg and road rash, likely from being hit by a car. His leg was amputated, and he is now thriving in a loving foster home. Despite his difficult start, Chance is a friendly, affectionate, and incredibly happy boy. He adores other dogs, is highly food motivated, and has a wonderful eagerness to please.

Ideal Home

Chance is adjusting wonderfully to life on three legs and can navigate a few steps to get outside. He enjoys sniffing around the yard and relaxing. He's shown to be good with children, having received pets from a 6 and 9-year-old nephew. He loves playing with other dogs, enjoying toys, and cherishing his meal times.

Ongoing Health

Chance is recovering from a leg amputation due to an injury.

Training & Support

Chance is doing exceptionally well with kennel and house training, with only a few accidents. He's a quick learner and eager to please, making him a joy to train.

Transporation

We are located in South Carolina and offer transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. We facilitate local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
