Honey Comb

Honey Comb is a 5-6 year old, 68 lb mixed breed who is as sweet and affectionate as they come. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and couch-potato vibes, always happy to be by your side for whatever you're doing. Whether you're working from home or relaxing, Honey Comb is content to entertain herself nearby, making her an excellent companion. When it's time for fun, she's ready for anything – zoomies in the yard, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys are all on her list of favorites. She has a knack for charming everyone she meets with her big smile and signature "stop, drop, and roll" move, which is her adorable way of asking for belly rubs. Honey Comb is smart, has excellent manners, and is respectful of household routines, making her a joy to live with.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. A fenced-in backyard is a must for her to enjoy playing fetch and sunbathing. She prefers a quieter suburban or rural environment over a busy city, as she loves exploring nature trails and hikes. To ensure her happiness and well-being, she should be the only pet in the home and in a home with children aged 4 and up, as she can sometimes be a bit too enthusiastic for very young children. A feline-free home is also recommended.

Ongoing Health

Honey Comb is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in our care.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She communicates her needs by tapping at the door and will not have accidents in the home. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. While she's happy to sleep in a kennel, she would love to sleep in her forever family's bed or on a dog bed next to theirs.

• The adoption fee is $350, which includes a $100 adoption fee and a $250 transport fee.
• Please be aware that applications are reviewed in the order they are received and our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, so review may take a few days.

Transportation

Honey Comb is currently in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations; please visit wags.com/transport-locations for more information. Adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Please note that dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to transport, and we cannot accommodate typical meet-and-greet situations due to transport distances.
