Peeva

Peeva is a handsome Shiba Inu who is large for his breed and approximately 2-3 years old. He came to us as a stray and was adopted but unfortunately returned a few months later. He was startled when his previous adopter moved furniture, leading to a nip where no skin was broken. We've been caring for Peeva for about 8 weeks now, and like many Shibas, he takes a little time to warm up and accept new people. While he tends to hover over his kibble bowl, he's enthusiastic about treats and chew toys, even bringing them to you to hold while he enjoys them. He walks well on a leash and prefers to do his business during walks, even though he has access to a yard.

Ideal Home

Peeva would thrive in an adult-only home with an experienced dog owner. He needs to be the only dog in the household.

Ongoing Health

Peeva is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and tested heartworm negative. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Peeva is still learning to trust, and patience is key. He's generally well-behaved on walks and uses the yard for potty breaks.
