Meet Asteroids! This 32-pound bundle of sweetness graduated from the Puppies for Parole program on June 12 and is now ready to launch into his forever home! Asteroids has made tremendous progress during his time in training and continues to show just how smart and eager to learn he is. He responds reliably to his name and already knows several commands, including "No," "leave it," "drop it," "off," and "yes." He also sits politely for petting and grooming, making him a pleasure to spend time with.
One of Asteroids' biggest accomplishments has been his growing confidence around other dogs. He has done much better with canine companions and continues to develop positive social skills. His calm and gentle nature helps him navigate new situations with ease. He will still require a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home prior to adoption. Asteroids prefers female, playful dogs. People are one of Asteroids' favorite things. He is incredibly welcoming to new faces and is always happy to soak up attention, pets, and affection from anyone willing to share them. Whether you're relaxing at home or enjoying a quiet afternoon together, Asteroids is content just being by your side. Smart, gentle, affectionate, and well-mannered, Asteroids has all the qualities that make an exceptional companion.
