Barkus Aurelius Roman, a charming 4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix, is ready to bring his royal charm to your home! Affectionately known as Aurelio, this handsome pup has a heart full of love and a personality as goofy and affectionate as they come. With his striking creamy tan coat, mesmerizing icy blue eyes, floppy ears, and a sweet puppy face, Aurelio is a true head-turner. He's the only boy in his litter and enjoys being part of the action, whether it's playing with his sisters, basking in belly rubs, or cuddling up on your lap. Aurelio thrives on routine and has been introduced to basic commands like "lay," "stay," and "paw," which he learned quickly due to his strong food motivation. He's making great progress with crate and potty training, and with consistent positive reinforcement, he'll continue to blossom into a well-behaved companion.
Ideal Home
Aurelio would do well in a home where he can be included in family activities. While he's learning to respect the older dog's space, he's not yet been introduced to cats or young children, so slow, supervised introductions would be recommended. He's friendly and affectionate but is still learning not to jump when excited.
Ongoing Health
Aurelio is a healthy puppy. His adoption fee includes all vetting, which covers vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchipping.
Training & Support
Aurelio is learning patience and impulse control, especially during meal times. He will continue to thrive with consistent, positive reinforcement and lots of encouragement. He is friendly but still working on not jumping when excited.

Aurelio is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
