Madison

Madison is a sweet 2-year-old Beagle mix who was found as a stray. She likely spent her early life as a hunting dog and is still learning how to be a beloved pet. Because she may not have had much human interaction, Madison can be a little shy when first meeting new people. She's also a bit skittish around loud noises and prefers not to go outside alone; she'd love for you or another dog to join her.

Once Madison feels comfortable and realizes you're a kind person, she blossoms into a loving and devoted companion! She adores her foster dad and gets very excited to see him. She also gets along well with other dogs and would truly benefit from having a canine sibling in the home to show her the ropes and help her learn the ropes of being a cherished family member. Madison hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding or aggression. She's currently working on leash manners and housebreaking, and she's comfortable staying in her crate when left alone.

Ideal Home

Madison would thrive in a home with lots of love and understanding. She really needs a resident dog to help her gain confidence and learn how to be a family pet.

Madison is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Madison is learning to walk on a leash and is still working on housebreaking. She is crate trained and will stay in her crate when left alone.
