Meet Nero! This lively little pup is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Nero is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and he is eager to learn new tricks and games.

Nero is at the age where training and routine are critical, so he needs the consistency, patience, and love of his new guardian to show him the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. We encourage his new family to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must – leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training.

Nero is presumed to be a Labrador Retriever / Rottweiler mix. The Lab is an enthusiastic athlete that requires lots of exercise, like swimming and marathon games of fetch, to keep physically and mentally fit. The Rottweiler is intelligent, highly trainable, and wants to please, although some may be stubborn, and training at a young age is critical. So if you're looking for a fun-loving, rambunctious friend to keep you on your toes, Nero is the perfect match!

Ideal Home

Nero would thrive in an active home that can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Ongoing Health

Nero is awaiting neuter surgery and will be available on a foster-to-adopt basis until he is neutered. This means adopters must be willing to travel to all vet appointments until the adoption is finalized.

Training & Support

Nero is a puppy and requires consistent, patient training, including leash training, socialization, and house training. Puppy obedience classes are encouraged.
