Meet Rover Journey!
Rover is a lively and loving approximately 2-month-old puppy who weighs about 8.2 pounds. He's likely a Pit Bull/Lab mix, and he's one of many pups looking for a loving forever home. By adopting Rover, you're not only saving his life but also making space for another dog in need at our overcrowded local shelters. Rover is a bundle of joy, bringing playfulness, affection, and curiosity. His handsome tuxedo-like markings with a white chest and tiny white socks, paired with his soulful eyes, are sure to steal your heart. He absolutely adores people and showers his favorites with puppy kisses. When he's not cuddling, he's probably engaged in a spirited game of tug-of-war or romping with his puppy pals before settling down for a nap.
Ideal Home
Rover needs a family committed to providing him with consistent training, socialization, and a structured routine. He thrives on positive experiences and will flourish with boundaries and clear expectations.
Ongoing Health
Rover has received his initial vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Rover is still learning about the world. He will benefit greatly from immediate crate training upon arrival to aid in potty training, build confidence, and establish healthy habits.

Transportation
Rover is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
