Willow

Willow is a precious Chocolate Lab/Australian Shepherd mix who is shy, sweet, and exudes goofy puppy joy. She's a happy pup, extremely friendly and affectionate, and a lover of playtime and cuddles. Willow was rescued along with her three siblings by a couple who found them in a rural area and cared for them. She came to us a bit skinny but is now gaining weight and is a healthy, happy pup. Willow is about a year old and currently weighs around 40 pounds, with a predicted adult weight of 50-60 pounds. She is very smart and is making great progress with potty training, with daily practice expected to lead to mastery soon. Willow is dreaming of a home with a soft bed, belly rubs, backyard adventures, and humans to love forever. Despite a rough start, she is eager to be loved and cherished.

Ideal Home

Willow would thrive in a home with a dog-loving person who understands she may need a little time to adjust and settle in.

Willow is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Willow is picking up on potty training with daily work and is expected to master it soon. She may need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family.

Transporation

Willow is an "out of town pet" and is not at this location. Our Rescue is Houston-based, and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston. We have transport available to bring pets to you. Approved pets are scheduled on transport with AJC Rescue & Transport. Dogs are moved via scheduled, air-conditioned vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX, to a location near you. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog during transport, receive updates on their location, and get an estimated time of arrival. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport and will have scheduled stops for bathroom, walk, and food breaks.
