Run, don't walk, because Onyx Baby won't be available for long! This sweet boy has an absolutely wonderful personality and a face that will melt your heart, complete with soulful eyes and perfect floppy ears. He's an approximately 7-month-old pittie mix who currently weighs 33 lbs. As with any rescue, his exact breed and age are a mystery, but what's certain is his incredible charm.
Ideal Home
Onyx Baby would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and relax, but he's also a happy couch potato who enjoys snuggles. He's great with other dogs and his foster believes he would be happiest with a canine companion. He was respectful of the resident cat during their introduction. We are happy to test him with children upon request.
Ongoing Health
Onyx Baby is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple deworming treatments, and he has been spayed/neutered. He is also on flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Onyx is a smart boy who knows "sit" and takes treats gently. He's eager to please, which makes him a perfect candidate for further training. He is crate trained and is doing well with potty training, though he may have occasional accidents if left alone for long periods.

Onyx Baby is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24-hour care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
