Shasta

Meet Shasta, a sweet 4-year-old Shepherd mix who weighs 25 pounds. She came to us in early April after a difficult situation involving a hoarding case in a nearby rural county. Shasta has a kind soul and a big heart, and despite the challenges she's faced, she's shown incredible resilience. She can be a bit shy at first, but with a little time and patience, she blossoms and shows everyone her loving nature. Shasta is looking for a special human who will cherish every step of her journey and celebrate her accomplishments as she learns what it's like to be a loved pet.

Ideal Home

Shasta would love a home that can provide her with the patience and love she needs to adjust to her new life. She would also thrive in a home with a confident, friendly dog who can show her the ropes and be her new best friend.

Ongoing Health

Shasta is healthy and has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Shasta is a bit shy and will need a patient adopter who can give her time to adjust. She will thrive with positive reinforcement and lots of encouragement as she learns about the world and what it's like to be a cherished pet.

Transporation

Shasta is located at Saving Grace Rescue LBK in Wilson, TX. She is available for adoption throughout the PNW, Midwest, and Northeast through Project Freedom Ride.
