Jack is a beautiful 3.5-year-old Great Pyrenees with a gentle soul and an incredible story of growth and resilience. After his family circumstances changed, Jack found himself needing a home better suited to his love of attention, companionship, and outdoor time. Though he was once very fearful and timid, Jack has blossomed in foster care into a friendly, affectionate boy who now happily plays with dogs, cats, and even his best buddy—a foster kitten! He’s house trained, knows commands like sit, down, and come, and has learned to enjoy grooming and affection from people he trusts. Like many Great Pyrenees, Jack will bark and dig in the yard, especially if he’s bored or under-exercised, so he’d thrive with a family who can give him plenty of activity and companionship. Jack does have subaortic stenosis and takes atenolol twice daily, along with yearly cardiology checkups, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life and showering his people with love. This sweet boy is ready for a forever home where he can continue to flourish and finally feel secure.
