About Leia

Leia was rescued from the Clewiston Shelter in May 2026. She is a young, small, female Rat Terrier mix with a brindle and white coat. Leia is spayed, vaccinated, and has a wonderfully affectionate, athletic, and loyal personality. She can be a bit of a princess, but she also loves kisses and is quite funny!

Ideal Home

Leia is known to do well with cats and other dogs, but her interactions with children under and over 8 are unknown.

Ongoing Health

Leia tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing treatment. She will not be available for adoption until her treatment is complete. We are seeking sponsors to help cover her medical care during this time.
