Mama Kris is a gorgeous Boxer mix who weighs 44lbs and was estimated to be born on April 22, 2025. After being a devoted mama to her puppies, this sweet girl is ready for her own loving home. Mama Kris came to us from the county shelter where she was on the euthanasia list with her newborn puppies, simply because the shelter environment made her scared. Now that her puppies are grown, Mama Kris has been spayed, tested heartworm negative, and is fully vaccinated. She's officially ready for her happy ending!
Mama Kris has a most soulful and sweet personality. She can be a bit shy at first and needs a little time to feel safe, but once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly loving and gentle. She walks nicely on leash and thrives with calm affection and reassurance. Mama Kris also has an amazing recall! She is dog friendly with proper introductions and is currently working on kennel training. While the kennel isn't her favorite thing yet, she's learning and improving every day. Mama Kris would be happiest with a patient adopter who understands that dogs from stressful situations need time to decompress and settle in. She survived the shelter. She raised her babies. Now it's finally Mama Kris's turn to be someone's baby.
