Chopper

Meet Chopper! This handsome boy is a trendsetter with his unique lopsided ears and a slightly crooked front leg. Chopper came to us with a previous injury to his leg. After vet x-rays and consultation with specialists, we learned the break has long healed, and he functions perfectly well with it. While he may have a mild limp, it doesn't slow him down one bit! Chopper is a determined and fearless pup who charges ahead with enthusiasm. Out of his litter of seven, Chopper quickly became a crowd favorite with his sweet face, adorable mannerisms, and playful spirit. He's a smart boy who is motivated by treats and already knows his name and comes when called. Chopper absolutely lives for belly rubs and enjoys a good chew on a bully stick or a raw carrot. He's fantastic with other dogs and loves to follow the bigger males around. Chopper is incredibly loving and sweet with all humans, especially children. His playful nature truly shines when he's around little ones, making him a potential amazing family dog, just waiting to win your heart.

Ongoing Health

Chopper has a mild limp due to a past leg injury that has long healed. He fully uses the leg and an amputation was not recommended.

Training & Support

Chopper is smart and easily trainable, especially with food rewards. He knows his name and comes when called.

Chopper is currently fostered in Nevada County and can be transported to Wags.
