Butter Bean

Butter Bean is a delightful 2.5-year-old, 80 lb male Terrier/Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. He was rescued as a young pup with his siblings from a difficult situation and has grown into a sweet, gentle soul. While he's used to living outdoors and spending his days around livestock, he's also socialized with people, other dogs, and children. He's had some limited exposure to cats and has shown a protective, big-brotherly nature. Butter Bean is a sturdy, quiet, and smart boy who absolutely adores being petted and receiving affection. He's good with kids and, despite his outdoor upbringing, his sisters have quickly adjusted to indoor life, suggesting he will too! He's eager to learn and devoted to his family.

Ideal Home

Butter Bean would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play. A patient person or family to help him transition to indoor living and learn his new role as a cherished pet would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Butter Bean is up-to-date on core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), has been neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Butter Bean is smart and very trainable, with a strong desire to please. He is accustomed to livestock and may bark at them when they are being "sassy." With patience and guidance, he will undoubtedly make a wonderful indoor companion.
