Meet Spud, a tiny potato and professional cuddler with a survivor's spirit! This adorable little guy was found all alone after being dumped during a terrible storm in Texas. Thankfully, a kind soul rescued him, and now Spud is safe, warm, and getting the second chance every puppy deserves. We believe Spud is about 5-6 weeks old and is a delightful mix of breeds – perhaps Hound, Jack Russell, or Rat Terrier, or a little bit of everything! His paws suggest he might grow to around 40 pounds, but it's just an educated guess at this stage. What's no guess is his personality: Spud is sweet, affectionate, playful, and wonderfully social. He adores people, loves to be held, and has a talent for melting hearts with his big puppy eyes. He explores with bravery and curiosity, then settles down for a cozy nap in your lap.
Ideal Home
Spud is looking for a family committed to helping him learn all his puppy skills. Due to his young age and past experience, homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Spud and the family.
Ongoing Health
Spud is a healthy young puppy.
Training & Support
Like any young puppy, Spud will need an adopter committed to helping him learn essential puppy skills such as potty training, crate training, socialization, leash walking, and basic manners. Patience, consistency, and lots of love will be key as he grows.
