Stella is a spirited one-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a vibrant blend of intelligence, loyalty, and quiet confidence. This medium-sized girl, weighing about 55 pounds, is growing into an impressive companion who thrives when surrounded by people who understand and respect her unique personality. She enjoys long walks, adventurous hikes, energetic games of tug-of-war, relaxing car rides, and settling into her favorite crate or quiet space after a fulfilling day. Stella is remarkably quiet, preferring to communicate through gentle body language and the occasional whimper when she feels overwhelmed. Her caregivers invested more than six months in proactive training, and she comes with fully paid lifetime professional training support.
Ideal Home
Stella needs an experienced adult-only family who understands positive reinforcement and advocacy. She requires a fenced yard. Stella is not compatible with cats or other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Stella has digestive concerns that are now being successfully managed through a carefully balanced veterinary diet. She comes with complete medical and behavioral records, as well as pet insurance.
Training & Support
Stella is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, down, stay, heel, place, and yes-marker cues. Stella has a history of biting when unfamiliar people attempt to touch her without her consent or before trust has been established, making it especially important that her family carefully manage introductions and advocate for her personal space. She can become uncomfortable when unfamiliar people attempt to pet her, so she needs patient adopters who will allow her to initiate contact, carefully read her body language, and respect her boundaries.
