Poe is a 4-year-old, neutered Pittie mix, about 60 lbs of pure joy! He's a delightful mix of playful, loyal, and affectionate, with an outgoing and fun-loving personality. Poe is a smart and goofy boy who will have you laughing one minute and melting your heart the next. He's also a natural in front of the camera and loves a good photo op!
Ideal Home
Poe would thrive in a moderately active to high-activity home that can keep him engaged with walks, playtime, and perhaps a "job" to do. He absolutely adores children and has lived happily with kids aged 3-17. While he doesn't require another dog, he would enjoy a canine companion with a compatible energy level, provided introductions are done slowly. Poe is terrified of thunder, fireworks, and loud buzzing noises, so his adopter should be prepared to offer comfort during these times.

Training & Support
Poe is house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping soundly through the night. He is fed in his crate to maintain a calm routine, and he has no guarding issues with food or people, readily accepting treats from trusted hands. He walks best after he's had a chance to burn off some energy, and with a little leash work and structure, he'll be a dream walking companion. Poe could benefit from continued leash training and learning additional commands, as he is eager to learn and loves to please.
