Sleepy

Meet Sleepy, a smart and curious 5-month-old Blue Heeler puppy weighing approximately 16 pounds. Sleepy was rescued with his entire family and has had a safe start to life. He's intelligent, observant, and full of puppy enthusiasm, enjoying toys and exploring his surroundings. As a working breed, he'll thrive with an active family that can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Ideal Home

Sleepy would love a family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. He's comfortable around dogs, children, men, and women. A home with experience in dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies, would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Sleepy has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. He comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Sleepy is not yet house-trained. We understand that rehabilitating rescued pets takes time and effort, and we're unable to house-train each one due to the number of animals in our care. Continued positive guidance and socialization will help him become an incredible companion.

• After application review, a phone/email interview will be scheduled.
• A home check (in-person or virtual) will be conducted.
• A virtual meet and greet will be arranged.
• If it's a good fit, an adoption contract will be provided, including a trial adoption period.

Transportation

Sleepy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is ready to travel to the East Coast and PNW if adopted. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
