Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m a sweet, silly, and affectionate medium-sized mix with big soulful eyes, and I’m about a year old. Not too long ago, I was found on the side of the highway in Miami, FL, unable to walk and badly injured. Thanks to some amazing people, I’ve made a long road to recovery and I’m now feeling better than ever! I’m gaining weight and building muscle, and I’m already healthy and happy. All that’s missing now is a family to call my own. I love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful pup friend. I’m a total “Velcro dog” in the best way – always wanting to be near my people, whether we’re playing, snuggling, or just sitting quietly together. I wake up every day excited to just be here and I don’t take a single moment for granted.

Ideal Home

Lucy would be happiest with a playful canine companion. She is very affectionate and loves to be close to her people.

Ongoing Health

Lucy has made a full recovery from her injuries and is healthy and happy.

Training & Support

Lucy is a happy and loving dog who is excited to be alive. She is eager to find a family to share her life with.
