Hunny

Say hello to Hunny! This sweet girl is about 5-6 months old and weighs 29 lbs, though she could stand to gain a few more.

Some dogs burst into a room, but Hunny quietly steals your heart. She has come such a long way in foster care and is ready for a patient family willing to give her the time she needs to continue blossoming. Once she settles in, you'll discover a playful, affectionate puppy who loves her people, adores other dogs, and lives for nighttime cuddles. Hunny's favorite things include playing with dog friends, collecting and organizing toys (she loves to make piles of her stuffy toys!), spending time outside, cozy evening snuggles, and treats, especially when it's kennel time! Hunny has a moderate energy level and is an easy-going companion. She isn't much of a barker and enjoys a calm environment.

Ideal Home

Hunny would love a home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes. Her ideal home will have a securely fenced yard (this is a must!), another friendly dog, a patient family willing to let her warm up at her own pace, and kids 8+ with respectful dog manners. Hunny would not do well in a loud, chaotic household. She prefers a calmer environment where she can feel secure and settle into family life at her own pace.

Training & Support

Like any puppy her age, Hunny is still learning. She's about 80% house-trained, crates well with encouragement and treats, and is currently crated for several hours at a time. She is a sensitive girl who thrives with routine, consistency, and gentle guidance as she continues building confidence.
