Penny is a resilient soul who was found by a Good Samaritan after a difficult experience. Despite her past, Penny is eager to embrace her future and is looking for a loving home to call her own. She walks fairly well on a leash and is a smart girl who picks up on training quickly. Penny thrives on affection and will often express her joy with energetic "zoomies" after receiving compliments. She is curious, strong-willed, and wants to be by your side, participating in whatever you're doing.
Ideal Home
Penny would do best in a home with older children, as her history with younger kids is unknown. She cannot be around cats. Her compatibility with other dogs is mixed, so a home where she can be the sole canine companion or with a very carefully selected, calm dog might be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Penny has no ongoing health conditions to report. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, de-worming, current flea treatment, current vaccines for her age, and a vet exam.
Training & Support
Penny is starting from the ground up with her training and will need a patient owner who can guide her in becoming comfortable in social settings. She has had limited social interaction and a spotty record with other dogs.
