Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 1-year-old Redbone Hound/Labrador Retriever mix who is ready to steal your heart! Weighing around 50 pounds, this sweet girl is as loving and smart as she is well-mannered. Ivy never meets a stranger and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a friendly paw shake, always eager for affection. She's a wonderful companion, happy to join you for quiet evenings at home or exciting adventures. Ivy is also fantastic with other dogs, enjoying making new canine friends with her gentle nature. She found herself in a tough situation through no fault of her own but her sweet temperament helped her get rescued. Now, she's looking for her happy ending with a family who will cherish her as much as she'll cherish them.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of love and attention. A fully and adequately fenced yard is a must; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is fully vetted, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is kept on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Ivy walks beautifully on a leash and exhibits excellent manners at home and in public. She easily adjusts to new situations and takes life's changes in stride.

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Texas. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters to anywhere in the United States and Canada. Transportation fees range from $200-$300 for the East Coast and $250-$350 for the West Coast.
