Baxter - adoption pending!

Baxter is a very sweet senior boy looking for a quiet retirement home. He loves sniffing around and enjoys laying next to you. He'll gladly take some belly rubs and butt scratches. He does enjoy a small tennis ball or soft squeaky toy to chase and chew on. He can be choosy with treats but takes them very gently when he does. Baxter is an estimated 10 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. He is affectionate once he's comfortable and is housetrained.

Ideal Home

Baxter would do best as an only pet, as he enjoys his attention and belongings kept to himself. He is suggested for a home with children age 12 and up who can understand that he doesn't like his toys being taken away from him.

Ongoing Health

Baxter may have some compromised vision.

Training & Support

Baxter enjoys toys and treats but does show some mild toy resource guarding, meaning he doesn't like his toys taken away from him.
