Dorcus was brought to the shelter after a kind person heard him crying in distress in their neighborhood. He lost his home due to his owner's housing issues. Volunteers have been getting to know him and describe him as a little shy but calm, quiet, and gentle. He's easy to walk on a leash and is a big fan of treats, especially hot dogs, which he takes gently. He appears to be potty trained. Dorcus is 7.5 years old, weighs 53 lbs, and has shiny black fur with a touch of gray on his face. He looks like he was well cared for, and it's so sad that he lost the comforting familiarity of a home. Dorcus is a sweet, older guy who just wants a loving home.
