Koala is a delightful 1-year-old red heeler mix with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. Rescued from a small shelter in Crystal City, Texas, this handsome boy got a second chance and is now living on the East Coast, eagerly hoping to find the family he's been waiting for. At around 40 pounds, Koala is the perfect medium-sized companion. He’s friendly, affectionate, and absolutely loves being around people – the kind of dog who follows you from room to room, leans into you for affection, and looks at you like you’re his whole world. Koala is also energetic, playful, and always ready for fun. Whether it’s walks, adventures, playtime in the yard, or simply being included in daily life, he would thrive with an active family or person who enjoys having a dog by their side.
