Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl with perky ears that are perfect for scratching! She has a lot of energy but is happy to nap most of the day during work hours. Grace was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies and is now ready to find her own forever home! She is already potty and crate trained, loves her crate, and happily sleeps there every night. She's working on "roll over," "shake," "down," and remaining calm when seeing squirrels on walks. Grace is very strong, so she'll need your full attention on walks, especially at first. She thrives on routine and bonds very deeply with her people, and she does notice changes in her environment. Grace had a difficult start in life and shows some signs of trauma, but she is making great progress with her foster parents and Save-A-Bull. She can be initially hesitant around men, but she can overcome this after a proper introduction.
Ideal Home
Grace would do best in a home with adults only, as she is not accustomed to living with other children or pets. She would benefit from a consistent and predictable environment.
Ongoing Health
Grace is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Grace is already well-trained in potty and crate manners and knows basic commands like "sit" and "lie down." She is working on advanced commands and managing her excitement around squirrels. She will require patient guidance and positive reinforcement, especially during initial introductions to new people.
