Meet Grover Chillington!

Grover is a truly special boy with an old soul, estimated to be between 2-3 years old and weighing around 48 pounds, making him the perfect medium-sized companion. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston and is now thriving in foster care, where he's shown everyone just how much of a "chill" and wonderful dog he is. Grover loves being by his people's side, whether that's relaxing in the backyard, joining for a leisurely walk, or claiming the coziest spot for a nap. He enjoys exploring but isn't a high-energy dog; a few daily walks and quality time are all he needs to be happy. He's incredibly well-behaved, house-trained, and not destructive, settling nicely indoors after a day of fun. Grover is gentle and friendly, winning over everyone he meets with his charming personality. He's also a quiet dog, which is quite unique for his potential hound/cattle dog mix!

Ideal Home

Grover would love a home where he can receive lots of affection and has a soft place to sleep. He's looking for people who will cherish having a devoted canine companion by their side.

Ongoing Health

Grover is currently finishing up his heartworm treatment. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on prevention.

Training & Support

Grover is house-trained and has excellent house manners. He can be a little shy initially but quickly warms up and enjoys belly rubs. He's also great off-leash and has shown he stays close to his people.
