Posie is a 3-month-old fluff ball, weighing 21 pounds, who appears to be a Golden Retriever mix. She has been raised in a loving home and has learned excellent manners. Posie already uses a doggy door, happily shares her toys and treats, and has a wonderful, easygoing personality. She enjoys exploring with her stuffies and has shown to be inquisitive but respectful when meeting other dogs. Her foster family has provided her with plenty of playtime, affection, and positive socialization, including introductions to a senior female pitbull, a small terrier, and a large male German Shepherd. Posie was also comfortable around a 7-month-old baby, showing no signs of jumping or nipping. She is affectionate without being overwhelming, curious but not wild, and remarkably quiet, preferring cuddles or play over barking for attention. Posie is bright, eager to please, and receptive to guidance, making her a joy to train. She is looking for a lifelong companion to share adventures with.

Posie has received all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Posie has been raised with excellent manners and is already house-trained using a doggy door. She is bright and eager to please, making her receptive to further training.

Posie is located in the Greater Houston area, Texas. Transport is available nationwide, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
