Luma

Luma is a sweet and sensitive soul who is a survivor of a cruelty case and is learning to trust the world again. She's a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly with patience and space, enjoying quiet companionship. While she's not yet comfortable with petting from strangers, she's making great progress. Luma has been calm around children but would likely do best in a quieter home where she can continue to build her confidence. She's very affectionate with her foster family and finds comfort in the presence of other dogs. Luma is crate-trained and settling well into a home routine.

Training & Support

Luma is still working on potty training and has a tendency to chew shoes if given the opportunity. She is also nervous on walks and currently prefers short excursions. Continued patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help her thrive.
