Rowan

Rowan is an 11-week-old German Shepherd Dog mix puppy with a playful and affectionate spirit, eager to embark on his next adventure with a loving forever family. He's a typical puppy who enjoys exploring, playing with toys, taking cozy naps, and discovering the world one paw at a time. Rowan was rescued with his four siblings and their devoted mom from a Houston shelter where they were at risk due to overcrowding. Thankfully, they were given a second chance at life.

Ideal Home

Rowan is looking for a family that understands that puppies require patience, guidance, and positive training as they grow. In return, he promises to reward you with unconditional love and years of loyal companionship.

Ongoing Health

Rowan is fully vetted for his age. His neuter surgery is pending and will be completed once he reaches at least 12 weeks old, in accordance with our rescue's veterinary protocol. He will continue to receive all age-appropriate veterinary care through our rescue. Before traveling out of state, Rowan will be fully vetted, which includes three rounds of vaccines, neuter surgery, microchip, deworming, and current heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

At 11 weeks old, Rowan is at a crucial stage for learning and development. In just a few weeks, after completing his third round of puppy vaccinations, he will be ready to safely explore public places like parks, pet-friendly stores, training classes, and neighborhood walks. This is the perfect age to begin socialization, which will help him build confidence and learn how to interact with new people, dogs, sights, sounds, and environments.
