Meet Nina!
Nina, also known as Nini by her foster family, is a 5-year-old, 57-pound Border Collie/Staffordshire Terrier mix who is the perfect blend of adventure buddy, loyal protector, and professional cuddle enthusiast. She is fully house trained, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations, and she's on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Nina was surrendered after nearly four years with her previous family due to travel plans and was thankfully rescued from a euthanasia list. Since then, she has been thriving in her foster home in Texas, showcasing what an incredible dog she is.
Ideal Home
Nina is a smart, athletic, and energetic dog who loves to have a job to do. She would thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard and an active family who enjoys hiking, walking, or frequent trips to the dog park. She has done well with her canine foster siblings and enjoys doggy daycare, so a home with other dogs would be great.
Ongoing Health
Nina is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Nina is house trained and crate trained. She is described as social, confident, and loves making new friends. She is also a loyal, devoted companion who forms deep bonds and can be a bit of a shadow and protector.
