Mr Lincoln Rose *LOCAL*

Mr Lincoln is a delightful 5-month-old puppy, weighing around 39 lbs. He's named after a beautiful rose variety, just like his siblings! Mr Lincoln is a sweet, friendly, and goofy pup, full of playful energy and gentleness. His smart and funny antics are sure to keep you entertained, and he's eager to share his love and joy with a forever family. He's friendly with everyone he meets, including kids, dogs, and even cats, approaching them with curiosity and playfulness. He's already had some great experiences, attending park events and even yoga classes!

Ongoing Health

Mr Lincoln's mother tested positive for heartworm disease. While microfilariae (baby heartworms) can be passed from mother to puppy, they don't develop into adult heartworms in the puppy without a mosquito. These microfilariae are expected to be eliminated by heartworm preventative. Mr Lincoln has been on regular preventative care while in our care. To ensure any remaining microfilariae are fully eliminated and to minimize risk to other dogs, we recommend continuing monthly heartworm preventative with a product like Advantage Multi or Parasedge (imidacloprid + moxidectin) for at least the first three months after adoption. This product also protects against fleas. An additional tick preventative (oral) is also recommended.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Mr Lincoln has a lot to learn! He'll need guidance with house training, crate training, and leash walking. We strongly recommend obedience classes to help build his confidence, learn commands together, and further his socialization.
