Trixie is a precious young female puppy who came to Big Dog Ranch from a high-kill county shelter in Hale County, Alabama. She found herself there through no fault of her own, either found alone or abandoned with nowhere to go. Since arriving at Big Dog Ranch, Trixie has been given exactly what every puppy deserves: love, medical care, nutritious meals, and a safe place to rest her head. She is thriving in the care of the ranch and has already started making lots of friends, both two-legged and four-legged. Trixie is described as having a moderate energy level, being good on a leash, good with dogs, good with kids, loving to cuddle, and loving toys. She is also described as shy or timid, and will be a medium-sized dog weighing between thirty to fifty-nine pounds.
