Chance

Chance is an absolutely wonderful, loving, and friendly boy who was rescued from roaming the streets. He had apparently been doing that for a very long time and was a "hot mess" medically when he arrived. After treatment for a skin infection and double ear infection, and hospitalization twice for an upper respiratory infection, Chance is now in the midst of being treated for heartworm. Once he's done with that, all health concerns will have been taken care of.

Ideal Home

Chance would love a home with another dog and will do well with children 10 years old and up. While he hasn't been tested with younger children, he would likely be fine with them, but introductions would be needed to make sure. He hasn't been tested with kitties. Experience with rescue dogs in general, and bully breeds in particular, would be wonderful. Chance would love a fenced yard, but it's not an absolute requirement. He is looking for a rural or suburban home and would not be cut out to be a city dog.

Ongoing Health

Chance is currently being treated for heartworm. All other previous medical issues, including a skin infection, double ear infection, and upper respiratory infection, have been treated and resolved.

Training & Support

No specific training needs were mentioned, but general guidance for how to succeed with a rescue dog is always helpful.
