Penny Lane is a charming approximately 1-year-old, 22-pound girl who is a delightful mix of Yorkie, Poodle, and Chihuahua, with a few other surprises thrown in – a true Heinz 57! She's a spirited pup who enjoys playtime and has been described as a "spicy little girl" who won't back down from a playful tussle with another dog if they get in her face. Penny Lane is generally well-behaved, seems to be doing great with house training, and walks nicely on a leash. She’s eager for attention and definitely knows when it’s time for food, often being the first one in the kitchen! She’s sure to be a wonderful companion for the right person.
Ideal Home
Penny Lane would likely do best in a home where she can have active playtime and is not overwhelmed by other dogs. While she enjoys the company of other dogs and seems to get along with her foster yard buddies, she can be a bit assertive if another dog pushes boundaries.
Ongoing Health
Penny Lane has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza. She is also on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and parasites.
Training & Support
Penny Lane is not always thrilled about her foster trying to put on a leash, and a harness might be a better option for her. She's eager for attention and loves people, making her a very rewarding companion.
