Gina

Gina is a 8-month-old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix who weighs 56lbs. She was found as a tiny puppy abandoned in a cardboard box by the side of a busy road. Despite her rough start, Gina has blossomed in her foster home and is now ready to find her forever family. She is a sweet and playful pup who loves to engage in games of tug-of-war with her small dog foster siblings. Gina enjoys collecting her toys and keeping them in her bed, and she's also learned to play fetch! She is crate trained and has had no accidents when crated for up to 8 hours. Gina walks well on a leash and shows no signs of separation anxiety. She is looking for a family who will provide her with plenty of exercise, play, and enrichment.

Ideal Home

Gina would thrive in an active home with someone who will play with her daily. She would do best with older, dog-savvy children (10 and up) as she can be jumpy when excited. A home with another dog is recommended to keep her company and help her burn off energy. Gina should be in a cat-free home as she can be a bit too enthusiastic around neighborhood kitties. Adopters should be prepared to guide her through her "puppy velociraptor stage" and teach her appropriate chewing habits.
