Yoshi

Yoshi is a 2-year-old, 57-pound Anatolian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix with a fluffy coat, a goofy personality, and so much love to give. He's incredibly sweet with people and happiest when he's spending time with his humans. Whether it's a game of fetch, a belly rub, or curling up for cuddle time, Yoshi is all in. His favorite things include tennis balls, squeaky toys, treats, good chew bones, and being wherever his people are. He is potty trained, crate trained, and knows several commands, including sit, down, off, fetch, and even hug. He loves to play fetch and walks well on leash with continued guidance. Yoshi is extremely affectionate and people-oriented.

Ideal Home

Yoshi is looking for a home that understands him. He can be selective with other dogs and has become uncomfortable living with another male dog, so he'll do best as an only dog or with a compatible female dog after a proper meet-and-greet. He also prefers to enjoy meals and high-value chews in his own space. Cats aren't a good fit for Yoshi. He hasn't spent much time around young children, so we'd recommend a home with older kids who can respect his space and let him adjust at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Car rides make Yoshi nervous. He is also naturally a bit anxious in new situations, so he'll thrive with a patient family that will give him time to settle in and build confidence.
