Ruben Tigre

Ruben is a 3-month-old Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart of gold and a playful spirit. His adorable brown spots, warm hazel eyes, and unique nose make him a real heart-melter. He's currently in a foster home with other dogs and thrives with canine companionship, enjoying playtime and sharing toys. Ruben is also a total cuddle bug, always ready for a good snuggle session. He's a fantastic car passenger, making him the perfect adventure buddy for trips to the park, hikes, or weekend getaways.

Ideal Home

Ruben would do well in a home with another playful dog or as the only pet, as long as he receives plenty of attention and inclusion in family adventures.

Ongoing Health

Ruben is up-to-date on all his vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments and flea and heartworm prevention. He is microchipped and will be spayed/neutered before adoption.

Training & Support

Ruben is still learning about potty training and basic manners. He is treat-motivated and eager to please, making him a joy to train with a family committed to continuing his education.

Transportation

Ruben is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up points in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
