Veronica

Veronica is an 8-month-old, 23lb spayed female scruffy mixed breed with a bubbly personality. She was rescued at just 6 weeks old from a difficult situation and has been well-socialized by staff. Veronica is social and friendly with people and other dogs. She is incredibly friendly, loves making new human friends, and is great with older kids and other dogs! Veronica is already fully house-broken and crate trained. She is a massive ball-enthusiast who is always ready for a game of fetch. While her hound nose means she is still working on her listening skills when called, her high toy-drive makes her super fun and easy to train. It’s best to keep toys up and away unless you really enjoy picking them all up as she will drag them all out. Lack of access means she hasn't been tested with cats yet.

Ideal Home

Veronica would thrive in a home with a canine companion to help her transition, as she is excellent with other dogs. She has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Veronica has been spayed, vaccinated, and received a recent health check with a veterinarian. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations (Rabies and DPPV), any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, and microchip with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Veronica is house-broken and crate-trained. She is still working on her listening skills when called, but her high toy-drive makes her easy to train. Keep toys stored away unless supervised, as she enjoys organizing them!

Transportation

Veronica will be transferred from County of Hawaii Animal Control via Paws Across Water Hawaii (PAW HI) and will arrive to foster care on 6/10/2026. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
