An intelligent dog, she’ll do best with owners who appreciate an active and engaged companion and are ready to guide her through the fun stages of growing up. She’s happiest when included in family activities, whether it's neighborhood walks, backyard adventures, or simply learning something new together.

Training & Support
Elys is incredibly food motivated, making her a joy to train! She responds well to gentle redirection, picks up new commands quickly, and shows impressive impulse control for her age. Her foster home has provided her with a wonderful start, including kennel training and significant progress with potty training. She has learned the value of structure and enjoys her meals in her own kennel, separately from her sister. Her foster has also noted her ability to read social situations and respect boundaries with other dogs. While she hasn't met children or cats yet, her friendly and inquisitive nature provides a great foundation for socialization with thoughtful introductions.

Our transport system ensures safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care, including drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track her journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
