Kirby is an 8-year-old neutered Pit Bull mix who has been waiting in rescue since December 26, 2023. He's approaching his senior years in rescue, and we're hoping to find him a loving home where he can be spoiled for the rest of his days. Don't let his age fool you; Kirby is still an active boy who loves outdoor adventures, especially hikes and playing in streams. He's the perfect blend of a chill companion and an adventure buddy. Kirby enjoys playtime with his humans, showering him with affection, and soaking up all the love you have to offer. He's a smart, routine-oriented dog who understands the rhythm of daily life. He patiently waits for food and treats and has a steady, sweet presence. Kirby is house-trained, crate-trained, and comfortable being home alone. He's also great with visitors and gentle with kids and adults. He has lived with cats and is wonderful in the car, often sitting in the passenger seat like a person.
