Misty

Meet Misty! She's a 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is on the quiet, shy side, but once she decides you’re in the club, she’s all sweetness. She's the kind of dog who will coexist politely with cats and make friends with other dogs without a fuss. She is probably best with children who are past the energetic, screeching years.

Ideal Home

Misty's perfect home is one with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable. She would do best with a family who understands that quiet dogs are often the very best kind. A sofa to crash on is a bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. This means she cannot use a collar with a leash; a chest-type harness is required for her safety and comfort. Other than the occasional cough if she's clipped in wrong, it's not an issue.
