Leah and Judy are sisters who are approximately 5 months old (born around Jan 30th) and currently weigh around 17 lbs each.
These sweet girls were roaming around a local elementary school for about 2 months while school was in session; the teachers were feeding them. Unfortunately, school came to an end, and nobody would be there to give these girls food or water.
That is when we stepped in.
Judy is the lighter merle coloring, and Leah is the darker merle coloring.
Leah and Judy are a little shy but are coming around and learning to love people and getting loved on.
While we do not know who their parents are, we believe they are some sort of Catahoula mix.
Once full grown, we think they will be around 50 lbs.
These girls love other dogs and would do great in a home with other dogs in it to help them gain confidence. If no other dogs in the home, we recommend lots of play dates or even doggy day care to help socialize them!
Judy and Leah are very smart and loyal. They are always watching as the other dogs play and seeing how they can participate without upsetting the other doggies or being awkward.
They have met kitties and Judy and Leah are so submissive that they have no problems with the cats.
Gentle children would be fine for them!
Judy and Leah are working on crate training and will master it in no time.

These doggies will be fixed (spayed/neutered), current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on dewormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast.
The adoption fee listed ($495) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in.
